I have chosen a career in the energy industry where I am grateful that I am able to use my talents and skills to provide for and support family. And on my time off, you are sure to find me hunting, fishing, and boating in the great outdoors in my own backyard here in south Louisiana – a place often referred to as “The Sportsman Paradise!" I can personally attest – the name holds true – and keeping our waters and lands protected from pollution is important!

We, the USA ENERGY WORKERS, also enjoy time outdoors, clean air and clean water, a walk in the park, a day at the beach, an afternoon on the lake, birdwatching, and protecting our natural environments. We value national, economic, and energy security that results from a strong domestic energy sector.
From 1973 to 2019, however, America has endured six recessions - each one preceded by a spike in energy prices. In many ways, as America’s access to affordable energy goes, so does its economic performance.
We need to value these workers who provide us with the energy we need to energize America because only through a public policy of Balancing the 3Es®: Environment, Energy and Economy, can we help guarantee a strong domestic economy while improving the planet’s health and achieving energy and national security.
